Tips to Keep Your Home Safe for All

July 2019

The hot days of summer are here!  Check out the new beach wheelchairs and walkers we are starting to distribute!  Access for all...

Heat illnesses are of special concern to senior citizens, because older adults are much more affected by summer heat.    When we age, our bodies become less efficient at regulating temperature for a couple of reasons.  Seniors over 65 don't sweat as much as younger adults, which unfortunately is one of the body's most important heat-regulation mechanisms.  It is important to stay hydrated.

If you are interested in learning more about the various types of accessibility products, please give us a call to schedule a presentation or stop by our facility at 207 High Point Ave., Unit 2 in Portsmouth, RI.
