Meet Wisconsin River's New Training Chair! 
 
Greetings Wisconsin River District!  I am excited to join the District Team as the Training Chair. I grew up in a scouting family, worked professionally for the Boy Scouts of America for 7 years, and can't wait to now volunteer with the District. I have always enjoyed training adult volunteers and hope to help everyone feel supported and knowledgeable about their roles. I can be reached at [email protected] or by phone/text 608.553.4560
 
We have a live training happening on Saturday November 9, 2019 for any Cubmaster, Den Leaders, Pack Committees, Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster, and Troop Committees that need to complete training.  Wisconsin River District is working hard to have 100% of our leadership fully trained.  If you have not complete the online training for your position, please register HERE and join us on November 9th.  Starting in December the District Team will be reaching out to untrained leaders to assist in completing training. 
 
As we grow the Training Team, I am asking any Scouters who have a passion for teaching and training to reach out to me.  My goal is to have experienced Scouters available to local units to assist with training opportunities.

Training Opportunity! 

WRD Training Team is offering in person and interactive Leader Specific Training 
o n Saturday November 9, 2019.  
Leader Specific opportunities include:
Cubmaster, Den Leader, Pack,  Committee, Troop Committee, and Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster.    

Training is Saturday November 9 at St. John's Lutheran Church. 100 Oak St Prairie Du Sac, WI.  Check in at 8:15 am and trainings start at 8:30 am and will be finished by noon. 

Register here ASAP so we can be sure to have enough materials printed and on hand.

Sessions will be taught by experienced Scouters-bring your questions and get answers to support your program! 

All volunteers are encouraged to utilize either the online or in person training opportunities to have 100% trained in time for recharter.

Visit us at Camp Indian Trails on Saturday, December 7th for Pancakes with Santa! Take a trip to Camp Indian Trails and enjoy some Holiday Cheer with Santa.  Allen Hall will be decked out in Wintertime splendor including a large Christmas Tree!

Free giveaway for every youth! 

Breakfast runs 8am-11am 
$10 - per person
