Thank you, thank you, thank you!! We did it!! We pulled off a HUGE event in a short amount of time. This event would not have been possible without the help/assistance/prayers from Monticello-Jasper Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Downtown Development Authority, The City of Monticello, Jasper County employees, Jasper County Sheriff Department, and the 50+ volunteers!! This is OUR Community!! I can't thank you enough for trusting me during the process!!
The wonderful part of this whole event is that people traveled from all over the Southeast. They shopped, ate, and pumped gas locally. We had money go back into OUR town.
The only negative feedback that I have heard is that people had to go home because it was too late to be out. We were here until 4:45am. Mrs. Yearwood has a dedicated fan group. She spent the same amount of time with each person that went through the line.
It truly takes a community to pull off a successful event!! We did it!!
