January 14, 2022
Reminder: There is no school on Monday, January 17, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Tuesday, January 18, will open with Morning Meeting instead of Advisory.
Dear Huskies,

We are thrilled that so many prospective families had an opportunity to come to our campus last Saturday to safely get a glimpse of our programs and community! Click the button above to see a short recap video that captures a small taste of what they experienced, and what your students partake in each day on campus.

Secondly, something people may not recognize is the difference between middle school and upper school on our campus. Yesterday, our 8th graders participated in our first "High School Snapshot" event. Students had the opportunity to visit four high school classes for 10-15 minutes each to get a glimpse of what it is like to be a student in the Upper School. The tours were customized to match each student's interests and included a wide range of options, from Photography to Drawing and Painting, from Algebra to Calculus, and Spanish to English III. After the tours, which were led by chaperones, the students gathered for lunch with a few Upper School student ambassadors for the chance to ask questions and chat.

Lastly, I’d like to remind everyone that re-enrollment contracts for RHP, Ren and REACH will go out the week of January 27.
The process for re-enrollment for 22-23 follows this timeline:
• Week of January 27 - Re-enrollment contracts go out to all current families.
• February 3 - contracts must be returned with a 10% deposit.
• February 6 - all re-enrollment paperwork goes out.

RHP and Ren families seeking financial assistance must complete a Parent Financial Statement (PFS) form through School and Student Services (SSS) in order to apply. If your family already receives financial assistance, you must reapply every year and provide current income and financial data to continue receiving financial assistance. The deadline for the 2022-2023 financial assistance application is this Saturday, January 15.

You may access the SSS portal to begin your application by clicking the button below, or by visiting the “Tuition and Financial Assistance Page” of our website under the “Admissions” tab. This process does take time so please make sure you begin the process early and gather any required documentation for your application. Please note that our school code for the application is 6137.
If you require additional support with the SSS application, you may reach out to them directly at 1 (800) 344-8328 or you may access their user help portal by clicking the button below. Your documents will be handled with the utmost level of security and you may read more about SSS's document security here.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions regarding the re-enrollment processes at our schools.

Warmly,

Amy Hollinger
She/Her/Hers
Head of Schools

P.S. Some of you may have heard that today we had an unhoused woman on the lower campus. Our facilities team was there immediately and with the help of our local police and fire departments, and she was removed from our lower campus without incident. We have recently cleaned up and fenced in our lower campus to deter trespassing and we are grateful for the swift attention of our facilities team and local authorities.
