Carvalho traveled to China for Global Applied Projects Program

We previously highlighted different MBA student groups from Ohio State's Fisher College of Business during their Global Applied Projects (GAP) program in Brazil. However, there were also Brazilian students involved in programs in other countries such as Brazilian MBA candidate, João Carvalho, who did his GAP in China, where his group advised the Diabetes Care business unit of Roche Diagnostics Ltd.

New Brazilians to Watch

In this series we will feature some of the new Brazilian students who will be coming to Ohio State autumn semester. In this edition we introduce Paula Resende Neves, who will pursue her LL.M (Master of Laws) at the Moritz College of Law. "My name is Paula Resende Neves. I attended a well-known law school in Minas Gerais and fortunately had great professors and opportunities. When I got into law school, I was 18 years old and everything was a surprise to me. This experience challenged me and changed me."

Ohio State Women's Volleyball Team in Brazil

The Ohio State Women's Volleyball team visited Brazil as part of their international 11-day summer trip. The student-athletes trained in and enjoyed Rio de Janeiro. Following the trip to Rio, they spent some time in Peru. The goal of the trip was to bond on and off the court. These Buckeye student-athletes trained hard, forged deeper friendships and became global citizens during their education abroad opportunity.

Brazilian Student Association's New Leadership

We are proud to introduce the new Brazilian Student Association (BRASA) leadership at Ohio State: Luana Lamberti will serve as president, Giovanna Tavares Decenzi as vice president and Vanessa Hart as treasurer. Global Perspectives: Daniela Yamato

From April 15-21, we had the amazing opportunity to live the Buckeye experience...and we loved every minute of it! We had many activities planned during the week: we visited art galleries and parks at the Short North, went to amazing restaurants (The Eagle, Chick Fil A, Hot Chicken Takeover, Buckeye Donuts and many more), attended some classes with undergraduate and graduate students, and got the chance to explore the huge campus of The Ohio State University (we were impressed with the RPAC, Ohio Stadium, the view from the 11th floor of the Thompson Library and the food variety at Traditions at Scott!).

The Brazil Gateway represents Fisher College of Business during The MBA Tour in Mexico City, Lima, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

The Brazil Gateway participates in a university fair organized by Colegio Etapa in Valinhos, São Paulo.
