Accreditation Update
Delone Catholic has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools) since 1952. Every seven years, the school surveys its stakeholders, sets objectives for the future and prepares a self-study which are then evaluated by a visiting team of outside educators and school staff. The purpose of the visiting team is to examine the self-study and validate that we are indeed who we say we are. The school has examined its success and areas in need of improvement according to the following standards:  Mission, Governance and Leadership, School Improvement Planning, Finances, Facilities, School Organization and Staff, Health and Safety, Educational Program, Assessment and Evidence of Student Learning, Student Services, Student Life and Student Activities and Information Resources.  Surveys conducted during the winter of 2017 of parents, students, faculty and staff and our school board provided the data that helped the school to set its objectives for the next seven years. The visiting team will be present on campus from Nov. 12 through Nov. 15. They will meet with faculty and staff, students, parents and school leadership and prepare a report at the conclusion of their visit. Please keep our community in your prayers as we prepare for this important visit and please watch upcoming Squire Wires for information regarding the objectives developed based on survey data.
