When I began writing the first Chloe mystery seventeen years ago, squeezing it in between contracted books,
I had no idea if a publisher would ever pick it up. Now I'm celebrating the release of Fiddling With Fate
, the 10th Chloe Ellefson Mystery! This one is special.

See our ad in September's Mystery Scene Magazine. |
One of the things that makes this journey so rewarding is meeting readers who share my passion for historic places, cultural traditions, and inspiring stories.
Mr. Ernst and I have scheduled a lot of public events for this fall, including
an awesome program planned for Chloe and Roelke fans. We'd love to see (or hear you call in at the first event) in the months ahead!

|
Mr. Ernst here. Fiddling is now available through most indie bookstores and major resellers, and some Chloe readers report having received their pre-ordered trade paperback copies!
Digital versions for Kindle, Kobo, Nook, and other ebook apps and readers will be available beginning September 8th.
And as you will see below, you have lots of opportunities to get a signed copy this fall. Check out these launch events!

As readers know, Chloe was raised in Stoughton, WI.
Fiddling begins and ends there. Chloe's backstory, everything that makes her unique, is rooted in that charming town.
What could be better than exploring her heritage with people actively working to preserve Stoughton's history and cultural traditions?
I've partnered with the Sons of Norway-Mandt Lodge, with help from the Stoughton Historical Society, to plan a very special
Fiddling With Fate Celebration on Saturday, October 26th.
This is a ticketed event and space is limited. To learn more about this program (including how to register) click

I would not have been able to continue writing the Chloe books without the ongoing support of all you loyal readers.
As always, I am very grateful.
Fiddling With Fate was written for you.
