Fall is around the corner and it's time to celebrate/mourn the beginning of school, depending on your perspective! Now that students are heading back to school, check out special events for our littlest library lovers, like all our wonderful early literacy classes and storytimes. For students, save the date for our always-popular fall ACT test prep sessions!
Please note:
Libraries are closed Sunday, 9/1 and Monday, 9/2 in observance of Labor Day.
The New Prague Library will be closed on Sat 9/21 for the Dozinky Festival.

Fall Readmobile Visits
The Readmobile will deliver learning, literacy, and fun during our fall visits in Belle Plaine, Prior Lake, and Shakopee. Check the Readmobile page for more information and the schedule of visits - fall schedule will be posted on 8/23!
The Readmobile vehicle and start-up collection were funded by the Diane J. Sachs Trust and a grant from the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community.

Early literacy is what your child needs to know about reading and writing before they learn to read & write.
