Your continued support inspires us to do even more.
Unexpected power outages will occur more and more as the weather intensifies in the United States. In 2020, the average American home endured more than eight hours without power due to natural hazards. This year alone, abnormal severe winter storms in Texas left millions of homes in the dark, while Hurricane Ida caused power outages in several states in the late summer.

Before severe weather hits, prepare for power outages by staying informed and tuned into local media channels; having a family emergency plan; having an emergency kit with a plan to keep medications and perishable foods cold; checking flashlights; keeping cellphones fully charged; having a full tank of gas or full charge on your electric vehicle; and, practicing manually opening and closing your garage door.
