This Week's Service
10:30 a.m. Service: The Final Form of Love“Which is forgiveness.”  Rev. Celie Katovitch.

9:15 a.m. Drop-in Discussion:  UU Terminology. Unitarian Universalists use terms in our services similar to those used in other churches, but with different meanings—such as “doctrine,” “sacrament” and “prayer” in our affirmation of faith.  Robert Remley will lead a discussion of how UUs define certain religious terms.  Please feel free to bring up terms you think need to be discussed.
Upcoming Events
Beginning Meditation Practice

Join us every Wednesday through November 16th from 5:30-6:30pm in the rear of the sanctuary (doors open from 5:15-5:30). This week the meditative experience will be enhanced by SANCTUARY, a Renaissance vocal group which will be unseen but definitely heard from 5:25 to 5:55.  No experience is necessary and you need not be a member to attend. For more information contact Kathy Russell [email protected], or Moritz Wagner [email protected].

Leadership Assembly

The First Universalist Fall Leadership Assembly will be held on Saturday, October 1st, from 9:00-12:00.  We will gather in the Clara Barton Lounge for coffee and goodies at 8:45.  The program will begin at 9:00.  If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Nancy Gaede ([email protected]).

2016Convention

The New York State Convention of Universalists invites you to attend this year’s convention on October 21st and 22nd.  It will be held at the UU Church of Utica and the Unitarian Church of Barneveld.  A copy of this year’s brochure can be found on the bulletin board outside of the church office.  If you are interested in being a delegate, please contact Shirley Bond as soon as possible ([email protected] or 325-6084).
