Traffic Reminders
Below are a few important reminders, to ensure we are courteous neighbors to our adjacent businesses and compliant with traffic laws.
- Please DO NOT PARK or DRIVE-THROUGH the neighboring business lots. We do anticipate citations being issued and vehicles towed if violations occur.
- Pick-up and drop-off using our Approved Traffic Route ONLY.
- Enter the campus by driving south on 92nd Street
- Turn right on Bahia as you leave the egress. Turning left slows down all cars behind you.
- Have your child prepared to enter and exit your car upon drop-off and pick-up. Being prepared prior to stopping speeds up the process for all.
- Please DO NOT PARK in the fire lanes, as these are designated for emergency vehicle access in the event of an emergency.
- Be aware of where you are parking your vehicle, and the proximity to the ingress/egress for each property. This can create a hazard and limited visibility when exiting the property.
We appreciate your cooperation with these traffic and safety reminders!

Spirit Shirts
Get your Spirit Shirts in time for the Next Spirit Day! Spirit Shirts will be sold at school during lunch on Wednesday, September 11th and Thursday, September 12th. Spirit Shirts are $20 each. Cash or credit cards are accepted. The next Spirit Day is Friday, September 13th.

Join us at the Great Hearts Gala on September 28th at
Chateau Luxe, including a hosted cocktail hour, silent and live auction, dinner, program, music, and dancing under the stars! Funds raised at the Gala support Great Hearts teachers network-wide through professional development and the Teacher Excellence Fund.

- SPA PSO MEETING TOMORROW: Please join us for our September PSO board/general meeting on Friday, September 6th at 8:15am in the SPA library! All SPA parents are welcome and encouraged to come!
- Thank you to all who helped with vision and health screenings! Your help made the screenings go smoothly!
- Thank you to Kathleen Anderson and parent chaperones for the first two middle school socials of the year: the MMR swim party and the KTR middle school social! Great way to meet new people and have fun with friends!
- 8th Grade Families and anyone who wants to appreciate teachers. There are still a few slots needing to be filled for the first teacher appreciation lunch of the year on Friday, September 13th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. This lunch is hosted by 8th grade families, but the support by way of donations and volunteers from all grades is warmly welcomed! Please see the sign up HERE to see how you can help and stay tuned for upcoming lunches! We have something "cooking" nearly every month of the school year!
- PLEASE CONSIDER HELPING: Sign up for a Faculty Birthday! There are just a few faculty names still available! To make the faculty feel extra special, please consider signing up HERE to buy a birthday lunch for a faculty member!
- PSO VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR 2019-2020: Let's start the new school year off running! All SPA parents please fill out this short online PARENT VOLUNTEER FORM for 2019-2020 even if you have been a dedicated volunteer in the past (for which we thank you!). We ask that this form be filled out annually by all parents so everyone has the opportunity to participate in grade level activities and new interests. Thank you! Together wE Achieve More!

Fingerprinting Information
Scottsdale Preparatory Academy will hold a fingerprinting event after the start of the new school year in the fall. If you would like to secure a Fingerprint Card now, Postalmax in Scottsdale is available to provide information on how to secure a Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Card.
