NSR Internship Application Deadline
The NSR is currently accepting applications for its three summer internship positions. The available positions are: Events and Education Internship, Field Staff Internship and Marketing and Communications Internship. The application deadline is Tuesday, October 1. NJSA Southwest Regional Wrap Up
The 2019 NJSA Southwest Regional was a success! The NJSA greatly appreciates the exhibitors, families, sponsors and volunteers who make our events possible. All show results can be found HERE . NSR Junior Incentive Program
In September of 2017 the Executive Committee of the National Swine Registry voted to approve a new Junior Incentive Program to NJSA members participating at the Southwest Type Conference in Belton, Texas and the NSR Fall Classic in Duncan, Oklahoma. This program is meant to encourage the junior membership to exhibit their outstanding showpigs at NSR Type Conferences where junior shows do not currently exist. This program awards $500 to breed champions and $250 to reserve breed champions owned and exhibited by a NJSA member.

Upcoming Shows
The 2019 National Barrow Show will be held September 7-10, in Austin, Minnesota. Changes have been made to the NBS schedule, so read it thoroughly. Health regulations for this event are updated and can be found HERE. Please contact Whitney Hendricks at whitneyh@nationalswine.com with the ear notch information for NBS Open Show entries. If you are exhibiting a crossbred boar, please complete the Crossbred Breeding Information Form.

The 2019 NSR Simply Southern Prospect Pig Sale will be held September 13-14, in Perry, Georgia. Online entries are still open and can be found HERE. Health regulations for this event are updated and can be found HERE.
