NEXT SERVICE: Sunday, February 8: To Fall in Love with the World Across the centuries, we Unitarian Universalists have striven to change the world for the better. Can we do this while simultaneously loving the world as it is? Rev. Celie Katovitch.
NEXT DROP-IN DISCUSSION: Sunday, February 8: Are We Charlie? The recent killing of the staff of the satirical French magazine, Charlie Hebdo, raises a number of questions, including the limits of free speech and of religious toleration. Phil Ebersole will facilitate a discussion.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION: Kids ages four and older join us every week in the sanctuary for the first portion of our worship service. Children's Worship begins after the Message for All Ages. Nursery care for babies and younger children is on the second floor provided throughout the service. We also have seating in our second floor foyer, where parents can hold their little ones and listen to the service via speaker.

THE BIG DAY HAS FINALLY ARRIVED! Our annual service auction will be held today after the service in the Clara Barton Lounge. A delicious low-cost lunch will be available while you sign in and get your bidder number- then let the bidding begin! If you didn't get a chance to look at our many offerings in the auction, we have extra booklets available for you. Don't miss out on the fun- or our biggest fundraiser of the year!
FOOD INGATHERING is next Sunday. Donations of non-perishable food items will be collected to benefit The Community Food Cupboard on Nester Street. There is a particular need for mac and cheese, canned fruits and vegetables, canned stew, canned tuna, and cold cereal.

INTERFAITH IMPACT OF NEW YORK STATE will hold its annual legislative briefing at First Universalist on Sunday, March 15, 2:00-4:30 pm. The topic is "Show Me the Money: Escalating Inequality Hurts," with Michael Kink from Strong Economy for all Coalition (Albany), Ann Johnson of ACT Rochester and a fast food worker.
