The Gathering
September 16, October 21, November 18, and December 16
9:45 am - 1:30 pm in Sumners Hall
The goal of our SJD/CarePartners dementia day care program is not only to serve those with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia, but to provide support and respite for their family caregivers. Caregiving places a high demand on family members or other caregivers and can be very taxing. Volunteers will help greet, prepare lunch, decorate, assist with crafts, play games, and have a good time with our guests. For more information or if you are interested in volunteering, please contact Laura Goehrs at 713.256.0519.
