We really do appreciate everyone working together to provide a safe environment for all.

Have you noticed when turning left onto Old Redwood Hwy, that sometimes the light does not change?  Well, IF you are the first car in line at the light, you must be pulled up far enough to trigger the light!  YES!  Food for thought!  Pass it on!
Madagascar Jr. Audition / Orientation for 1st - 3rd grades THIS FRIDAY
3:00 - 4:00 PM. Parent must attend.  See below for more information.
A Note from Mrs. Ryan    
Dear Parents,

St. Rose is currently working with a media company who specializes in Catholic school websites. They are creating an updated format for our school website and producing a promotional video for prospective parents who view our website for enrollment purposes. They will be on campus all day tomorrow to videotape and take high resolution photos for the website. I am grateful to the parents and teachers who have agreed to be interviewed. Six of our older students, whose parents have already granted special permission, will also be interviewed.
 
Each year when you sign that you have read and agree to abide by our school's handbook, you also give permission for your child's photo to be used on our website or in other promotional materials as long as your child's name or personal information is not included. These photos are usually in a group setting and have a short life. Since this is a more formal undertaking, I would like to give parents one more opportunity to opt out, if they so desire. Unless your child is one of the six students who are being interviewed, and who's parents were already notified, he or she will not be identified by name. Please call or email us tomorrow morning if you do not want your child in the photos or videos that will be taken tomorrow.
 
In order to look our best, tomorrow will be a dress uniform day even if your child has PE. We hope to have the new website and video go live sometime in October.
 
Friday is also dress uniform because we are having Mass at 9:30 AM. As always, parents are most welcome to attend. Our new pastor, Fr. Michaelraj, will be the celebrant.

The Walk-a-Thon is just a month away.  All families are expected to participate in this annual school wide fundraiser.  Parents & Students collect pledges, parent volunteers help run the event, and the entire student body will walk / and or run the morning of Friday, Oct. 4th.

Any volunteer hours worked at the festival can be used towards your family service hours at school.

ORDERS MUST BE PLACED IN ADVANCE 
  • If ordering WEEKLY - your order must be placed no later than WEDNESDAY the week before.
  • If ordering MONTHLY - your order for the next month must be placed by the LAST WEDNESDAY of each month.
  • St. Rose office will no longer ADD ON students who do not order in time. If you miss the order deadline, please send your child to school with a lunch. 
MORNING PARKING REMINDER
Parents, PLEASE do not park in the Faculty parking lot. The numbered spaces are assigned to a staff member. Do Not Park There.   Thank You.

AFTER SCHOOL PICK-UP REMINDER
Beginning TMRW - ONLY Kindergarten parents should arrive on campus at 2:30 to pick up. Kindergarten dismisses at 2:30pm and those parents have priority in the traffic circle.  Kindergarten parents who wish to gather out front must find a place to park. Do not leave your car in the traffic circle unattended.

1st - 8th parents - PLEASE do not arrive on campus until AFTER 2:40pm. Trust us when we say, timing will be everything!  

CN dismisses at 2:25pm and SR parents can not be lined up in the parking lot until AFTER 2:40PM.   We can not block the flow of traffic for CN dismissal.  
PLEASE share this information with all who pick up your children.
