TK: 11:55am
K - 3rd: 12pm
4th - 5th: 12:30pm

Middle School and Elementary Difference Maker Update
|
The MCS Difference Maker Program exists to provide opportunities for students to see the needs in their community and actively meet those needs, impacting the world around them in Jesus’ name. The Difference Maker program has continued to thrive this year, and we are excited to share what God did through our Difference Maker students in the fall semester!

TK – 7th Grade Families:
It’s that time of year again! You have the opportunity to honor your TK – 7th grade child with a dedication in our annual yearbook. The focus of the written dedication is to affirm, bless, and honor your MCS child.
The final deadline for submissions is March 13th.

All items in the Lost & Found are donated at the end of the month. Items that are commonly lost include water bottles, lunch boxes, sweatshirts, and even shoes! Please be sure to check the Lost & Found if your student is missing anything.

Wear and Share is a great opportunity to share and select gently loved MCS uniform and Spirit Wear items. Visit the gym mezzanine using the upper patio entrance anytime

Our Pastors Chapel has become a special tradition here at Mariners Christian School. Each year we invite pastors and leaders from the churches our MCS families attend to come and enjoy a breakfast together, and then worship with our students in chapel.

Digitally Distracted: Parenting in the Age of Technology

MCS is proud to welcome Tom Kersting, author of
Disconnected: How to Reconnect Our Digitally Distracted Kids
, for this very special event.
Armed with the latest scientific research, Tom will present tips and tactics on how to help our children reconnect with relationships and the world around them. This event is open to all MCS parents and friends of the MCS community.

Monday, March 2
is Read Across America Day! Students are welcome to celebrate by dressing up as a book character of their choice. All Free Dress Dress Code Rules apply.
This is such a fun day for our students as they learn about the POWER OF READING! Complete with a book parade, special guest readers, and a door decorating contest!

We're looking for Alumni to visit Elementary classrooms on March 2nd between 9am - 2pm to read to our students.
We strive to be a community that brings in former students to be a great example to current students on campus. Read Across America Day is an important reminder to students that reading open up lots of doors, so why not be a great example of that! We hope to hear back from you!

Middle School Half Day: Friday, 2/28
|
Friday, February 28th is a Half Day for Middle School Only— All middle school students will be dismissed at 12:30 on this day in preparation for Evening of Honor. Though the much anticipated evening is specifically for 7th and 8th graders, all middle school students will be released at half day. In addition, students must remain for the duration of the half day. Any 7th or 8th grade student who leaves before the 12:30pm dismissal, will not be allowed to attend Evening of Honor.
