Please join us on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings, July 29, July 30, and July 31 as our choir presents music for its upcoming tour to Lincoln Cathedral. Our choristers will sing Evensong on each of these three evenings at 8:00PM in preparation for traveling to England later that week. Music for each service will be lovely, prayerful, and inspiring. Can't be with us in England? Please consider joining us in Winnetka at Church On the Hill for a wonderful British cathedral music experience! We'd love to have you with us!

Antiracism Workshop: an Opportunity to Grow in Love 
What exactly is racism, and how does it operate in our society? Please consider joining Christopher, Nadia, Charlotte McGee and others for an in-depth 2.5 day workshop this fall, offered in partnership with the Episcopal Diocese. The workshop is called "Understanding and Analyzing Systemic Racism", and it runs Oct. 17-19 (Thurs. evening through Saturday afternoon), down in Hyde Park. Listening Sessions in August
Search & Nomination Committee seeks input for diocesan profile.
The
Bishop Search & Nomination Committee is inviting all laypeople and clergy in the diocese to attend a bishop search listening session in August. Input received at the sessions will guide the committee as it writes the diocesan profile, a detailed description of the diocese that helps applicants learn more about the Diocese of Chicago and its people.
The listening sessions, which will take place across the diocese and will focus on how attendees see God at work in the diocese, what challenges the people of the diocese are facing together, and what the diocese seeks in its next bishop.
Additional listening sessions for clergy only will be announced soon.
In addition to the listening sessions, the search committee will conduct an online survey later this summer. Watch the newsletter for details, and find more information on the bishop search website. Q

Summertime Play!
Every Wednesday morning this summer, parents, caregivers and little ones are invited to the McClain Room and the adjoining patio from 9:30-11:00AM for some fun playtime. We will have lots of toys, a simple snack, and coffee for the grown-ups! Friends are welcome.
