September 2019 Newsletter

We are so glad to be back in the swing of school again!

The halls are alive with the sound of children! We are so glad to see everyone again and kick off the new school year.

Make sure you stop by the teachers' bulletin boards throughout the school year. They will display student work, pictures of students, documentation of the learning process, and handouts of helpful hints for parents.

Tuition statements have been emailed from Brightwheel!

Check your email for your September billing statement that was sent on 9/1/19. Also, keep in touch with your child's teacher and view pictures of classroom activities through this convenient app.

Birthday Policy Reminder:

This is a reminder that per our Handbook (pg. 19), parents may send special birthday napkins for use during snack time to help commemorate their child's birthday. We will sing happy birthday and send home special mementos to mark the day. FMS will not host birthday parties. Please do not send food of any kind, balloons, or treat bags to school. Invitations for parties hosted outside of school will only be distributed if an invitation is provided for each child in the class. Invitations will not be distributed to classes for which the birthday child is not enrolled. Thank you for your cooperation!

BOX TOPS ARE GOING DIGITAL!

Clip/save traditional paper Box Tops or scan Box Tops through the app for FMS through October 11. To use the new Box Tops app to scan Box Tops instead of clipping, click HERE for details. If you use the app to scan your receipts, screen shot your total and email it to [email protected] by 10/11/19. T he class that turns in the most Box Tops will receive free Kona Ice Snow Cones in October!

Tuition Payments

Please check your email for your September tuition statement from Brightwheel.

ACH (lowest cost for FMS), debit, and credit card payments must be made through Brightwheel. Autodraft payments may be set up through Brightwheel as well.

Cash, check, and money order payments must be made in

the FUMCD church office on Main Street Mon.-Thu., 8:30a-4:30p. After business hours, payments may be placed in the drop box on the south side of the building (behind the evergreen bushes).
