NEXT SERVICE: Sunday, March 31: The Glad Surprise of Spring. A service for all ages. Rev. Martha L. Munson

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION:Kids ages four and older join us every week in the sanctuary for the first portion of our worship service. Children's Worship begins after the Message for All Ages. Nursery care for babies and younger children is provided throughout the service on the second floor. We also have seating in our second floor foyer, where parents can hold their little ones and listen to the service via speaker.
SOCIAL JUSTICE PLATE OFFERING is today. Money collected will benefit "Catherine's Peace Team". This is a project started by Jack Sullivan, the 9 year old cousin of Catherine Violet Hubbard, 6, who was a victim of the Sandy Hook Shooting-he is constructing a Peace Garden and Sanctuary in her honor to be constructed at Allens Creek School. The money is going for plantings, a bench and a plaque in her honor and to be a symbol to promote peace.
ORIENTATION TO UNITARIAN UNIVERSALISM will be held on Sunday, March 24 at 12:00 PM in the second floor adult lounge. Visitors who wish to learn more about our faith, as well as "old timers" who would like a refresher are welcome to attend.
EASTER PLANTS: Please help decorate the sanctuary for Easter by ordering a plant for $9. Becky Elwell and Ruth Fitzgerald are taking orders until March 24th.

SANCTUARY MOVING DAY: Help wanted to move cushions and furniture out of the sanctuary after the Easter Sunday service, March 31. It won't take long if we have plenty of help. No sign up sheet--just come! Thank you
RENOVATION UPDATE: The electrical work did start on February 25 as planned. The power and control lines have been installed all the way to the locations where the new lights and controls will be mounted later. On Monday April 1st the pews and floor work will begin. It means that, after the service on Sunday March 31st, every object in the sanctuary that is not anchored to the floor will need to be removed. Everybody is invited to join in this giant moving party. Between April 1st and some time in June, the Sunday services and the Thursday noon concerts will be held in the Clara Barton Lounge. THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES voted unanimously to extend Rev. Munson's contract for a second year of interim ministry with us. We will be starting some of the preparations for the settled minister's search very soon...stay tuned for more details.
LUUNCH BUUNCH will gather on Sunday, April 28 at India House, 998 Clinton Avenue South, for their scrumptious buffet at noon after the service. There are plenty of choices for vegetarians as well as omnivores. All are welcome!
