Stoney River Executive Director Sarah Krenn’s recent promotion from Lifestyle Specialist, a role Krenn held at Stoney River for six years, provides a continuity of leadership with a focus on changing the way people age for the better at Stoney River. New Lifestyle Specialist Nicole “Nikki” Lehmann also promotes a more positive approach to aging and is “passionate about helping others lead their best quality of life.”

Stoney River Ramsey
QUALITY CELEBRATION

A toast was made to Stoney River Ramsey for earning the 2019 National Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living by team members, residents, family and community leaders at a celebration party.
The award recognizes Stoney River’s commitment to improving the lives of residents through quality care. The Bronze award is the first of three progressive award levels through the National Award Program that recognizes long term and post-acute care organizations across the nation for quality.
Aboriginal Artwork
Inspired by the study of Australia as part of the monthly World Tour program, residents created Australian Aboriginal Dot paintings , an artform that Aboriginal artists use to tell their stories while hiding sacred, secret elements within complex and beautiful dot designs. Residents exhibited steady hands and lot of patience in the making of their dot paintings!

Guests Sampled SOCIAL LIFESTYLE

Sipping on Old Fashioneds and nibbling s’mores on the patio with residents was a great way for guests to get a taste of the relaxed and inviting Stoney River Marshfield lifestyle.
The folks here enjoy the beautiful community’s social setting, farm-to-table dining and award-winning VIVA! lifestyle. Best of all, Stoney River residents are a friendly,
welcoming bunch!

Twist and SHOUT

Stoney River Ramsey residents enjoyed singing along to Beetles songs at the City of Ramsey’s downtown, outdoor concert. Thanks to Ramsey for supplying the opportunity to enjoy good friends, good music and a lovely summer evening to remember.

Why the Secret to Aging May Well Be FRIENDSHIP

Quick! Who do you think is more likely to be happy and healthy at the age of 90, all things being equal? A woman who moves several states away to live near her children and grandchildren? Or a woman who remains in the same town where she’s lived for decades, only seeing her children and their families on holidays?

The answer may surprise you.
