On July 14, 2020, City Council passed an ordinance requiring all individuals within the City of Bowling Green to wear a face covering over the individual's nose, mouth, and chin while inside a place of business that is open to the public. There are specific instances when a face covering is not required. The public is encouraged to read the full ordinance, which has been linked below as well as to the City's website.
This ordinance remains in effect regardless of the Ohio Public Health Advisory level that Wood County may be assigned by the State of Ohio. The ordinance is in effect until October 31, 2020*, unless extended by a majority vote of City Council.
