THANK YOU!

Thank you to Sra. Brody and all families who attended our online PTA Event: Bedtime Stories with Sra. Brody!

We had an amazing turn out of ~100 families!!!  In addition to the stories, attendees were treated to a Pajama Dance Party!

Our very first online event wasn't without technical difficulties.  We apologize to any families delayed in joining (we were eventually able to get everyone in), and from here we know where we can make some adjustments.

Thanks to the phenomenal response, we'll host more online events and ask you to PLEASE SHARE MORE IDEAS for online events to events@puestadelsolpta.org.

Just like another story Stone Soup--everybody has something they can bring to the table, no matter how big or small, be it a single kernel or corn or bushel of potatoes!

Volunteers Wanted!

There are many different ways to get involved and support our students at Puesta del Sol!

Whether you have just a little time or more to spare, there are opportunities for everyone.

Please check out our open volunteer positions here. Some of these programs will be on hold until we are back at the school in person, but it doesn't hurt to have volunteers lined up and begin planning.

If you have questions about any roles, or you have a new program idea (perhaps something that would enhance remote learning), please email edenhancement@puestadelsolpta.org.

Additional District Info

Bellevue Schools Foundation
All in for Kids

In this day of school closures, distance learning and uncertainty, one thing remains the same: Our willingness to work together for the benefit of all the students, teachers and families of the Bellevue School District community.

Clickathon was a great success and our students have much to celebrate.  Because of gifts from our generous donors, our students will get the BEST possible education including: cutting-edge computer science lessons, robotics, more staff trained to help students with anxiety and depression online, funding family Connection Centers, providing digital copies of culturally responsive books for grades 1-5, and much more.

YOU too can make a difference.  Donate here.

Community Feedback
The City of Bellevue is seeking community feedback on Use of Force Policies

Mayor Lynne Robinson, with the support of the City Council, has pledged to review police use of force in Bellevue to identify whether any reforms are needed.

They invite the community to leave a comment and take a short survey (EngagingBellevue) through November 15, 2020.
