President Trump Campaigns in the West
Days ahead of the Nevada Caucus, President Trump held Keep America Great rallies in Arizona, Colorado, and Nevada.

This week, President Trump held three packed rallies in Phoenix, Colorado Springs, and Las Vegas. The President can win Arizona and flip Colorado and Nevada because he has delivered a historic record of results that have benefited all Americans. In these three western states, his pro-growth agenda has delivered hundreds of thousands of new jobs, lifted thousands out of poverty, tens of thousands of people off food stamps, and delivered lower taxes thanks to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

In Arizona:
  • In Arizona, the economy has added 240,000 jobs since the President was elected. This includes over 19,000 manufacturing jobs.
  • In just 3 years of President Trump’s administration, more Arizona jobs have been added than in the entirety of the Obama Administration.
  • The unemployment rate in the state fell from 5.2% to 4.6%. Over 4,000 new jobs have been created as a result of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
  • President Trump’s policies have lifted 124,000 Arizonans out of poverty and 147,000 off food stamps.

In Colorado:
  • In Colorado, the economy has added over 183,000 jobs since the President was elected. This includes over 7,000 manufacturing jobs.
  • The unemployment rate in Colorado has decreased from 2.9% to 2.5%. Under the Obama Administration, the unemployment rate in the state was more than double what it is today.
  • Thanks to the historic tax cuts, 126 communities have been designated as Opportunity Zones.
  • President Trump’s policies have lifted over 60,000 Coloradans out of poverty and over 32,000 off food stamps.

In Nevada:
  • In the Silver State, the economy has added over 128,000 jobs since the President was elected. This includes over 16,000 manufacturing jobs.
  • The unemployment rate in Nevada has decreased from 5.4% to 3.8% - tied for a record low.
  • Under President Trump, Nevada saw its second-best year (2018) of GDP growth since 2009.
  • The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act has helped Nevada workers and resulted in nearly 2,000 new jobs and an average tax cut of $1,341.
  • President Trump’s policies have lifted over 12,000 Nevadans out of poverty and over 25,000 off food stamps.

President Trump Is a Champion for Black Americans

In February, our nation celebrates Black History Month and a time to honor African American trailblazers and their many contributions to our society. These trailblazers have triumphed over injustice and forged a path of opportunity and freedom. As we reflect on our history, we also acknowledge black Americans have a true champion in the White House. President Trump continues to deliver on his promises made to the black community.
