Our twenty-three new teachers gather for their first photograph together. Look out for our new teacher video coming soon.
Welcome new teachers.
Penn-Delco welcomed twenty-three new teachers to the district for orientation on August 21 and 22. They had the opportunity to meet Penn-Delco administrators, learn about our district, and visit their schools. They even got to meet Pennsylvania's Governor during an impromptu event at Coebourn Elementary! We are thrilled to have these excellent educators as members of our Penn-Delco community. Be sure to offer them a warm welcome and show them why we are #PennDelcoProud.
Parkside renovation on track
The Parkside Elementary School renovation is almost complete. A new secure entrance, office, and parking lot will welcome students the first week of school. The new playground surface will provide a safer and more enjoyable place for Parkside students to enjoy outdoor play. We are excited to welcome the Parkside families to the new and improved grounds and entrance.
Short-term parking for your convenience
The District has completed the addition of multiple short-term parking spaces at every school building. These thirty-minute spots will allow for parents and other visitors to park for up to 30-minutes for short visits. They are clearly marked. Check them out!
New technology for a better experience
Penn-Delco will be unveiling two new systems for students and parents to better connect with their teachers and assignments. With Schoology , middle and high school parents will be able to view each course, grades, sports team, or club information--all in one place. Elementary teachers will use Schoology to communicate with parents and provide information previously found on teacher web pages.

Skyward will track final report card grades and attendance for students. At the elementary level, Skyward will also be the grade book of record. More information, as well as log-in training, will occur at our back to school nights in September. Stay tuned for all the great things happening with our technology partners this school year.

We look forward to seeing you in September
