Changing to a fall travel rhythm
I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend, which marks a gradual switch from folks seeking summer fun to those intent on autumn adventures. It's still a busy tourist time, but the focus and rhythm are beginning to change.

As is typical this time of year, our calendar is overflowing with activities and events in the next two months;  a few highlights are listed below and you can view the complete calendar at  sonomacounty.com/sonoma-events .

Just FYI, construction continues along Highway 1, with one-way traffic in spots. So if any of your guests want to visit the Pacific Ocean, tell them it's still possible to enjoy our spectacular coastline, but to expect some delays on Highway 1 between Bodega Bay and Jenner. Recent construction details are online at  dot.ca.gov/caltrans-near-me/district-4/d4-news/08-15-2019-sonoma-county-highway-1-updates-for-emergency-repair-projects, with daily updates at  www1.dot.ca.gov/hq/roadinfo/Hourly

Many thanks for all you do to welcome our visitors from near and far, and to help them experience and enjoy this wonderful place we call home.

Cheers,
Tina Luster
