"Clinging to God in the Storm", a devotional book from the Daily Bread states, "Storms can be a rough patch in your relationships, your health taking a negative turn, a financial hardship, a mental state that makes your day-to-day difficult, or an array of other things life can throw at you. Wherever you are right now, fighting in a big storm or riding on calm waters, there is comfort in knowing that God performs His biggest miracles even when we are in the scariest of storms.'
We serve a miracle-working God with miraculous power. Look at the multiple examples of the miracles performed in the Bible. At the end of reading each miracle, it states the disciples, or the crowd, even multitudes around watching as Christ performed miracles were amazed. Every time they were amazed at this sight of what seemed broken, blinded, lost, beyond repair...Jesus blessed, spoke and it was so. All He asked was for a step of faith.
The blood has never lost its power. Christ is still in the miracle territory business. When face with these moments of crisis and impossible reports or outcomes, we can either choose to constantly see the impossible situations like the Israelites in the desert...OR...we can live in constant amazement and faith at the miracle working God's power to turn the impossible into possible. He is still the business of miracles, hope, healing, and deliverance.
In this season, we pray for growth of our faith to believe in God's expectations, even if we believe and our prayer isn't answered the way we hope it would. Make it your prayer that God stirs your spirit to greater faith, peace and expectations in the unknown and the impossible.

PRAYER
Father, thank you for being the God of the impossible. Thank you for being greater than any trial, obstacle, or storm than we can ever imagine. Our confidence is secured in your promises and truth.
