Pack the stands for our annual Girls GVBL Night at GVHS on 1/25/18 as the Patriots take on Sun Valley! JV tipoff 5:45 pm & Varsity tipoff 7:00 pm. All players wearing a GVBL shirt will gain free admission with a paid adult.
GVBL players will also have the opportunity to meet the GVHS players after the game and get autographs while enjoying a snack and drink.

The Patriots went 1-1 last weekend. They had a strong win in their ICBA game against Owen J. Roberts last Friday, but lost in the Malvern League last Sunday. Each week they continue to make great strides individually and as a team.

The Titans have 2 games on their schedule this afternoon.
6th Grade Boys
The Blitz had tough losses in ICBA play on Friday & Saturday, but came back with a win Saturday night in the Malvern League with great teamwork & passing

The Thunder beat SHYBA on Tuesday 44-20 & Kamryn Laymon was the lady of the game. The Thunder beat Whitpain on Friday 36-14 & Madison Stribrny was the lady of the game.
7th Grade Boys
Last week, the Suns took on a team which stood heads-above our players, but the boys played hard and played like a team. In the reaches of victory, it is easy for a team to play well, however, when faced with an uphill challenge, playing like a team is what shows true character. The Suns had character!

The GVMS Boys are off to a strong start! Both teams won their first games of the season on Wednesday vs South Brandywine!
The boys play North Brandywine at

on Monday and face Chichester on the road on Wednesday.

The GV Girls had a tough road loss vs Oxford & lost last night to Springfield
. Although it was a loss, there were some positive plays that they will build upon. Next game is Tuesday, January 23rd at Kennett High School. Pack the stands for Girls GVBL Night on Thursday, January 25th!
The GV Boys won 56-37 Thursday night vs Oxford at Boys GVBL Night!
Gavin Frankenheimer hit for 15 points, Liam Ward added 12 & Max Guistwhite chipped in with 10 to trigger the Ches-Mont American victory for the Patriots.
