2019 Western Michigan Yachting Association Championships

The White Lake Yacht Club invites all C Scow sailors to join the great competition on the water and fun off the water during the WMYA 2019 Championships August 2 - 4. Founded in 1903, the WLYC features a marina basin with many permanent and visiting yachtsmen boat slips and moorings, a swimming pool, a historic clubhouse, a festive dining / ballroom, a long covered porch with to enjoy West Michigan's glorious sunsets, and plenty of good food, boat drinks and music.

2019 WYA Championships
Oconomowoc, WI

The La Belle Yacht Club hosting this year's WYA Championship. Always tremendous competition on the water. But it's not all about the sailing.
Saturday Night will feature an amazing dinner and then dancing to a live band with a full bar. Cocktails start at 6 PM. Dinner at 7:15 and dancing from 8:30 until Midnight. Guests & WYA Members are all invited to this great party on Saturday night. This party is going to be held at the Harris Barn at Evergreen Farm. Everyone must purchase the dinner package and a wristband will be provided upon check in. Please note that no one will be allowed on the farm without a paid dinner wristband; so please be sure you get your wristbands and get ready to party! (Transportation can be provided upon request)

The host for the 2021 NCSSA National Championship Regatta will be

The deadline for selecting the host club for the 2021 National Championships is fast approaching.
It's so easy to submit a bid. Simply send formal bids to
[email protected].
With your submission, the NCSSA board asks that your club provide the following information:
- Club Location and a brief history including websites and social media outlets
- Past Nationals hosted and years if applicable
- Club facilities - Full Restaurant, Bar, Storage Shed, etc.
- Launching facilities - Number of hoists, ramps, etc. to make it easy for traveling teams to get in and sailing and on the road at the end.
- Dockage - Number of boat slips, boat lifts available, etc. Dry event or wet event? Hauling every night?
- Housing - Free housing, available, hotels, B&B's nearby, etc.
- Fleet Size - How many active boats at your club. How many active on the regatta circuit
- Food - Meals provided, Free Beer, open bar, ability to take credit card, etc. Local restaurants and bars to go out to after sailing.
- Social Media - Club Website, Facebook page, Twitter, Online Registration - These all let us know how you are going to sell your event to get sailors to attend.
- Ability to post scores quickly (WiFi available, printer available, etc...)
- Price - What is your target price? Will food be packages only or ala carte? What is the anticipated social package price?
