Survey Coming
The Worship and Music Ministry is in the process of creating a survey covering worship in light of Covid 19 precautions. This survey will be distributed soon via email. We ask that you take the time to fill it out to aid both the Ministry as well as the Session as we make important decisions about the coming months. If you cannot access the survey online, we will have paper copies available upon request in the office.

The Dead Reformers Society
The Dead Reformers Society is a new group dedicated to the proposition that the unexamined life is not worth living. The D.R.S. will discuss various topics drawing on theology, art, philosophy, history, poetry, and the liberal arts. Join Pastor Luke at Zambaldi Brewery (1649 S. Webster Avenue in Allouez) on Tuesday, May 4, at 7pm for the Dead Reformers' inaugural meeting!
Each month a relevant subject for conversation will be provided and multiple perspectives considered. The Dead Reformers will draw on the Reformed tradition's riches and offer scripturally-based viewpoints for each month's conversations. All participants must be at least 21 years old. Carpe Diem!

Worship This Sunday
We'll celebrate a baptism this Sunday at 9:45am during this Easter season! We'll also be discussing how the resurrection continues to reverberate in the world today. Discover how God’s presence in the world continues to challenge and renew the Church. This week’s sermon focuses on 1 John 3:1-7 and Luke 24:36-48 (click to read verses). As Christians, we participate in the life of Jesus Christ through the gift of the Holy Spirit. What does being a follower of Christ look like in today’s world? How important is it that we share our faith with others in a diverse and pluralistic world? We examine how we, like the disciples, are charged with the same tasks and duties that Jesus entrusted the original disciples. You're invited to join us in person (with masks and safe seating), online by live stream on our Facebook page, or by audio only through Zoom (see details later in this newsletter). Hope to see you Sunday!

8:30am Zoom Sunday School
This Sunday at 8:30 am, grab a cup of coffee and join our Adult Sunday School class via Zoom as we explore the fascinating world of the Apostle Paul. Join our study of "Learning to Walk Like Jesus: Paul’s Journey to Rome" as we accompany Paul on his journey as he visits various cities and proclaims the Good News of Jesus Christ. Being a disciple of Jesus is not always easy. However, when we learn to walk like Jesus, we can join Paul in affirming, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” See you Sunday!
Here's how you can be a part of the class:

Connecting Ministry "Bread of Life" Fundraiser
Our Connecting Ministry's "Sweets for Your Sweetheart Dessert Sale" last February was a great success raising funds for the "Help for the Homeless Hygiene Drive." Coming Sunday, April 25, Connecting is planning a "Bread of Life" Sale featuring fresh-baked loaves of specialty bread made by members of our church family. The funds raised will go toward the "One Great Hour of Sharing" and "Pentecost" special offerings. Watch for more details, and mark your calendar for our next tasty fundraiser!

Our Church Home Could Use Your Help!
It may still feel a little chilly outside, but our annual Church Spring Clean-Up Day is coming very soon! We're asking everyone who can to stop in on Saturday, May 1, beginning at 8:30am. Our Building and Grounds Ministry will have lots of projects to help get our church home freshened up after a long winter and a year of Covid 19. More details to come!
