FAMILY NAME PLACARDS - WE NEED ALL 1ST - 8TH FAMILIES TO PLEASE USE THE NAME PLACARD AT DISMISSAL. THE BEST PLACEMENT IS TO ATTACH TO YOUR PASSENGER VISOR, SO WHEN YOU TIP IT DOWN, THE PLACARD CAN BE VIEWED FROM THE OUTSIDE. WE APPRECIATE YOUR HELP.

ONLY CARS PICKING UP KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS SHOULD BE IN THE CIRCLE BETWEEN 2:20-2:40PM.

A Note from Mrs. Ryan    
Dear Parents,

This is one of my favorite parts of the school year. Our students are happy to be back and are settling in to the new learning routine their teachers are providing for them. As parents, you have chosen to partner with us to help your children develop knowledge, habits, and skills that will serve them well for a lifetime. Punctuality is an essential attribute for school success.
 
Perhaps you have noticed the banner on the front lawn, "Rise and Shine and Be On Time." This represents a new initiative to achieve 100% punctuality for our students. As you know, school begins at 8:10 AM. Teachers plan the day to maximize the use of instructional time and all of them have important learning activities that take place first thing in the morning. Even being two or three minutes late alters your child's ability to attend to these activities. Regular supervision on our playground begins at 7:45 AM each morning. The families who have success with on-time arrival are families who plan to arrive no later than 8:00 AM each day. That way slow traffic or a congested parking lot won't cause their children to be late. Arriving by 8:00 AM gives your children an opportunity to connect with their friends and begin their day without the stress of "hurry up".
 
Currently, we have been averaging a daily tardy rate of 6% and this rate has been known to increase as winter sets in. We realize that sometimes a tardy is unavoidable. However, if the need to run from the car to the playground is a daily occurrence for your child, we hope you will consider modifying your morning routine to get to school ten minutes earlier each day. I promise that your children will benefit.

All students participate in this annual fundraiser for our school. Information will be sent home to all in September.    HELP will be NEEDED! Check back here later for more details. NOTE: If you want to volunteer to work the event, you MUST be volunteer compliant!

St. Rose School is a beneficiary of this event. It's success relies on Parents who volunteer and donate! 
Any volunteer hours worked at the festival can be used towards your family service hours at school.

ORDERS MUST BE PLACED IN ADVANCE 
  • If ordering WEEKLY - your order must be placed no later than WEDNESDAY the week before.
  • If ordering MONTHLY - your order for the next month must be placed by the LAST WEDNESDAY of each month.
  • St. Rose office will no longer ADD ON students who do not order in time. If you miss the order deadline, please send your child to school with a lunch. 
MORNING PARKING REMINDER
Parents, PLEASE do not park in the Faculty parking lot. The numbered spaces are assigned to a staff member. Do Not Park There.   Thank You.

AFTER SCHOOL PICK-UP REMINDER
Beginning TMRW - ONLY Kindergarten parents should arrive on campus at 2:30 to pick up. Kindergarten dismisses at 2:30pm and those parents have priority in the traffic circle.  Kindergarten parents who wish to gather out front must find a place to park. Do not leave your car in the traffic circle unattended.

1st - 8th parents - PLEASE do not arrive on campus until AFTER 2:40pm. Trust us when we say, timing will be everything!  

CN dismisses at 2:25pm and SR parents can not be lined up in the parking lot until AFTER 2:40PM.   We can not block the flow of traffic for CN dismissal.  
PLEASE share this information with all who pick up your children.

SCHOOL UNIFORMS      FOR SEPTEMBER DELIVERY, YOU MUST PLACE YOUR ORDER BY THIS FRIDAY - AUGUST 30TH.


To try on sample sizes before ordering, set up an appointment with school office after Aug. 7th. Remember, there are NO RETURNS/EXCHANGES if YOU order the wrong size.
ALL NEW VOLUNTEERS MUST BE COMPLIANT WITH DIOCESE REQUIREMENTS to Volunteer for any school activity BY SEPT. 1st.
If you wish to volunteer for any on campus activity, you must get compliant with Diocese Volunteer requirements by September 1st to be eligible to volunteer between now and December. 
  • This process can take several weeks to complete.
