Meditation Moment

From the Pastor ....

"Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up."
 (Ecclesiastes 4:9-11)

Recently, I was asked to join a weekly Bible study with other pastors. It's a time of collaborating, connecting and preparing for our sermons. As we enjoyed delicious coffee, one of my new friends vulnerably shared tough struggles in her life. As she shared her pain, tears flowed. We could all recount moments in life that are not easy, and surrounded her with compassion and prayer.

Church is a place where we can be authentic and trust we are not alone. Just as new colleagues shared joys, struggles and the mundane, so we at OSLC also walk with each other. No matter what season you find yourself in, we walk together. You are not alone. What a gift that we navigate through life surrounded by loving siblings in Christ. Praise be to God!

Eternally,

Pastor Karna

Help us get caught up and make our end of year budget goal!

We're excited for the future at Our Savior's living into our Mission as a caring community called by Christ to live and serve in faith. You have been hearing about and been a part of the numerous programs and ministries in this place that are bringing joy and God's love to our community inside and outside our door.  We value Our Savior's. We want to see our church thrive and be a part of that. To be energized, engaged, and equipped to share God's love for all requires your time, talent, and treasure.

Now is the time we need to focus on the treasure part. Recall the congregation approved a 4.3% budget increase to stretch ourselves to go after our vision. At this point, we are modestly behind meeting our budget. We are about 15% down from where we need to be at this time. As such, the Giving Team has put together a giving "Thermometer" that you will see in the church Gathering Area as a reminder of where we are at financially and how we are progressing toward our goal. Every year, our church comes through and we meet our budget. Let's rise to this challenge and do it again this year!

You can easily and securely donate online by clicking here . This will take you to our online donation portal where you can log in with your email and manage your giving. Contact the church office or 651.439.5704 if you would like help. Thank you for helping us meet our goal!
