Chamber Updates November 4, 2020
Community Members-

The strength of the Colerain Township business community continues to impress me. Despite numerous challenges presented in 2020, the community rallies and remains strong.
As impressive as its strength is the community’s philanthropic spirit. Last month, I witnessed nearly 150 volunteers take part in the annual Community Giveback Day to make a difference in the lives of 20+ homeowners in Colerain Township. Next year, wouldn’t it be amazing if we doubled or tripled those numbers? For those that volunteered…THANK YOU…and for those that sponsored in some way…THANK YOU too!

As you may have seen in the past week, the Colerain Chamber of Commerce is partnering with BLOC-SideBySide in an effort to increase the number of books in the hands of children in our community. You can step up to help by sponsoring a collection carts for books, help paint the carts in bright colors or even host a cart to be placed in your business where employees or customers could make contributions to the program. A huge thank you needs to go out to Rumpke Waste & Recycling for donating the bins to help, Art on Fire for helping with the decorating and supplies to do so, and to Playground Equipment Services for their willingness to use their facility to store and paint them. If you are still interested in helping, visit the following link for more Information and Sponsorship Details

We have many exciting upcoming opportunities to connect. This is an excellent time to be involved in the community as the Chamber of Commerce continues to serve as the conduit for various programs. The Zoom Educational programing will resume on Fridays at 11 am, beginning November 13, and are excited to announce a wonderful local opportunity for a local leadership roundtable beginning on November 12. More details can be found at: Business Owner Roundtable.

We will celebrate a ribbon cutting for Dedicated Senior Medical Center, a local business serving seniors, on Tuesday, November 10 at 11 am (details below). We are excited to continue to see our membership grow through these new businesses and renewed memberships.

Finally, we have solidified the date of our Holiday gathering, December 17, and while we are unable to be hosted by Northgate Mall this year, Pebble Creek has stepped up allowing us to have a wonderful venue for this fun event. More details about this will be out shortly and several other programs for 2021 will be announced next month. In the meantime, our Chamber Programing Schedule is full for November (see below).

All the best!
