Dear Parents and Guardians,

Parkside's school year is off to a great start as we move from the heat of summer to the fall. It has been a busy September so far, we have practiced our first emergency drill, welcomed the Phillies Phitness Program in 4th grade, and celebrated International Day of Peace by creating "Pinwheels for Peace."

Academically, students are completing their F&P Benchmark Assessments and CDT testing to help teachers identify areas of strength and need so that teachers can tailor instruction appropriately.

Parents, please note that on October 10th, we will be having a "Cookies for Clearances" event from 5:30-6:30 with our School Counselor, Ms. Lee. If you are shopping at the Book Fair, or plan to attend the PTL meeting at 6:30, stop by to get assistance in completing the paperwork to get your required volunteer clearances!

Please take a few minutes to view the other announcements below for the upcoming month. Follow us on Twitter at @ParksideES for more photos and news.
