Spring Professions Night This Thursday!

Does your child have an interest in the fields of education or mental health services? If so, they will not want to miss our Spring Professions Night this Thursday, April 15 at 7:00PM via Zoom. Your student will hear from a variety of different professionals, including Clinical Counselors, Elementary School Teachers, Higher Education Professionals and much more! Should you or your student have any questions about the event, please have them reach out to Mr. Schlabig (schlabig@desales.co) for more information.

We also encourage you to review the event's program (link below) to read about the keynote speakers and to check out the panel of professionals who will be available for Q & As that evening.

SAVE THE DATE
Download our ALL in for SFD Save the Date logo and help us spread the word on your social media accounts leading up to 5/4. Click here for logo.
All proceeds from ALL in for SFD goes to our Guardian Angel Fund for tuition assistance.
Stallions in the Spotlight
Members of the Boys Volleyball program, along with Principal Garrick, spent some time on Sunday after team Mass doing yard work for a long time supporter of SFD. #risebyloving
After receiving a call from one of our alumni for some help to clean up the church grounds at St. Francis of Assisi Church, ten students immediately volunteered. They worked for three hours straight! Fr. Fritz and parish volunteers were so impressed with their respectful attitudes and work ethic. Thank you for continuing to serve others.

College Essay Writing Workshop

Students and Families,
This spring, you can get a jump on your college essays. They’re one of the most important and time-intensive parts of the application process.

We’ve asked our friends at Prompt to help you. They’re college essay experts. They help thousands of students gain admission to top-50 colleges (and more) every year. They’ll be hosting a 30-minute virtual webinar for our families on “Secrets to Great College Essays.”

Our webinar is Monday, April 26 at 7pm ET.

Note: This webinar is in the spring because we encourage rising seniors to start working on their college essays during the summer. This will allow more time for them to focus on academics and activities during their senior year.
