Fake QR Codes Hit Parking Meters
Police around the country warned drivers to be cautious of QR payment codes on parking meters, after a slew of fake stickers made their way onto meters in Texas. The codes went to fake payment sites and police warned it’s a fairly easy scam to replicate.
CES Showcases EV Charging
Faster, easier, and better electric vehicle chargers were all the rage at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, where companies showed off new technologies that promised easier installation, faster changing, and less strain on the existing electric grid. The market is expected to more than triple by 2025.
