Homecoming 2019 
 Sunday, September 15th

Come and enjoy the day with fellow Alumnae...you can participate in so many ways.
  1. Join the IWA Community and the Golden Girls for Mass at 9:30 AM.
  2. Enjoy the creative genius of the IWA students as they compete for Spirit points. Each class will decorate their class floats to compete for the coveted spirit points.  Students and their class floats, along with the Homecoming Court and our honored Golden Girls will parade through the neighborhood starting at approximately 11:00 AM. 
  3. Concessions and Knight Shop will be open at 11:15 AM.
  4. Cheer on our students as they compete in the Annual Powder-Puff Football game and Tug O' War beginning at 12:00 Noon.
  5. Relax and cool off in the Alumnae Festhaus tent as you enjoy the company of your classmates over a cold beverage and delicious food.
  6. Showcase your skill by signing up for our 2nd Annual Corn Hole Tournament (Sponsored by the Alumnae Association.)  

All proceeds to benefit the Alumnae Legacy Scholarship.  
        
* Tournament Style:  Blind Draw | Teams of Two
*  Winners and Losers Bracket
* Time:  Approximately 1:00 - 4:00PM
* All games will be every/all ponts count, except for final games
* Number of Teams will be limited
* Cost: $40 per team (includes 2 free beverages for each team  
  member.)







WE COULD STILL USE YOUR HELP!
The Homecoming Committee is still in need of convertibles or open top jeeps to ferry our Homecoming Court and the 1969 Golden Girl Class in our Homecoming Parade on Sunday September 15th !

Alumnae Association Festhaus Tent


Ladies,
We need your help September 15th!  Please consider signing up for a shift bartending in the Festhaus tent.  You do not need to be a member of the Alumnae Board.
  
Any alumna over the age of 21 is welcome to come join us for a bit of fun and reminscing at Homecoming.  C ome take a break from the sun and hang out in the Festhaus tent.  The Alumnae Festhaus Tent will open at approximately 11:30 AM.
Volunteer time slots are as follows:
                                Festhaus Set-Up:  9:00 -11:00 am
                                Bartending:  11:00 am-1:00 pm & 1:00-3:00 pm

2018-19 Yearbooks are available!
 
Yearbooks will be available at Homecoming on September 15th.  
If you purchased your yearbook last year, please stop by the Festhaus tent  and begin reminscing.   Yearbooks can also be picked up in the IWA General Office at any time after September 15.

Note: Stay tuned for an additional  opportunity in mid-December (tentatively scheduled for Thursday, December 19th,) to pick up your yearbook. 
Mr. Villmer, the Yearbook Staff and the Alumnae Office are working on the details for this gathering.
Jumper Jamboree Happy Hour
 
We had a wonderful time celebrating the Classes of 2014 and 2007 last week. They visited campus for a Happy Hour which honored their successes in the 2019 Jumper Jamboree Giving Challenge. They reminisced with friends and received a sneak peek at the new STEM Lab. Thank you, again, to all of our young alumnae who participated in the 2019 Jumper Jamboree. We are already looking forward to the excitement of the 2020 Jumper Jamboree!

10:00 AM - 5 K Start
11:00 AM - Little Turkey Wobble

Race Shirts:
Runners must register by midnight, Monday, September 28th to be guaranteed a race shirt with registration. Adult and children sizes available.
