Valentine Candy Grams
Order a special treat to be delivered to your Valentine's classroom on Friday, February 14! The Middle School is selling Valentine Candy Grams for $1 each from Monday, February 3 – Tuesday, February 11. Each includes a message and special treat. Proceeds benefit the Middle School SLC.
Youth First is bringing compassion fatigue specialist Charlene Richard, founder of Caring Safely©, to Evansville for a community presentation for resilient parents that includes four primary strategies to use on a daily basis to reduce parenting stress.

The event is free but seating is limited; please RSVP on the Facebook event page. We look forward to seeing you on Monday, February 3 at 6:00 pm at the Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center.

Friends of EDS PTO
February Meeting
Our February meeting will be  Wednesday, February 5 at 5:30 pm . This month, we will have a  special guest speaker from Holly's House  to educate us about the  Think First & Stay Safe  program that is presented annually to K-5th graders at EDS. Be sure to mark your calendar and review the minutes from our January meeting linked below. Childcare is provided for current EDS students.

Important Note: Any parent who attends the February meeting earns a single-use JEANS PASS for their child(ren) to use between February 6-14!
Darlings and Dates: Candyland!

We invite all little sweethearts in JPK - 8th Grades and their adult date(s) for an extra sweet night of dancing, treats, selfies, and fun! Drinks, treats, DJ, photographer, and crafts provided. Dress up or dress down!
Middle & Upper School News
UE Engineering OPTIONS
The College of Engineering and Computer Science will host its annual UE Engineering OPTIONS Summer Camps this June. They are inviting middle school boys and girls and high school girls in the tri-state area to participate. More detailed information for each of the camps can be found at the links below.

Participants in the Engineering OPTIONS programs will have a better understanding of what types of opportunities are available in fields most closely related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Opportunity for Sophomores
Evansville Day School has been invited to nominate three sophomores interested in innovation, business, technology, entrepreneurship, and engineering to attend the Gregory A. Ballard Embracing the Future Summit. This year's theme, Inspiring Tomorrow's Innovators Today, will provide nominated students with thought-provoking wisdom and practical advice designed to inspire these young visionaries to become the innovative, game-changing thought-leaders of tomorrow for local communities and beyond.
