1st & 2nd GRADE ROUND ROBIN
The LAST DAY for PRACTICES is Monday, February 12th!
Our annual 1st & 2nd grade Round Robin Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, February 17th. This is a fun day in which the players will play two short games on the big court & enjoy a moon bounce and carnival games on the other court. The players will each get a trophy and a food ticket which they can exchange for a free pretzel or slice of pizza.

TOURNAMENT TEAMS
4th Grade Boys
The 2026ers' white team fought hard but lost this afternoon's Malvern League game. The blue team got a win today.

5th Grade Boys
The Patriots have been getting better each week. All of
the
boys have been learning how to move the ball around on offense, box out for rebounds & play tough
defense. They are learning that hard work translates into victories. The ICBA team plays today vs Mount Airy at GVMS & the Malvern League team also has a game today.
5th Grade Girls
Big win for the Titans in ICBA today with a 34-31 win over Audubon. The girls were down 31-28 with 1 minute left and scored 6 straight. The Titans also played in a Malvern League game today. The girls played a strong first half but were unable to carry their momentum into the second half.
6th Grade Boys
The Blitz defeated Perk Valley 42-23 in ICBA play on
Friday. They are back in action today in the Malvern League.
6th Grade Girls
The Thunder finished the ICBA regular season 11-1. Recent wins included
beating
Bensalem 36-10, Upper Moreland 41-25 & Ridley 29-21. The girls are playing in the Spring Ford President's Day Tournament next weekend.
7th Grade Boys
After a weekend off, the Suns are back in action today.
7th Grade Girls
The Crush played 3 games back to back today. They won their first game with great
offensive & defensive execution, but lost their next 2 games, ending their undefeated streak in the ICBA league. But the girls learned about mental & physical toughness through a full day of competitive basketball.
8th Grade Boys
GV '22 won both of their games this
weekend! They defeated Cheltenham yesterday 29-26 & Audubon today 33-30.

GVMS
Both teams defeated Lionville on Monday with the 7th graders winning in OT. Both teams lost on the road to Stetson. The game against Peirce has been rescheduled to 2/20/18. This week the Patriots take on Engle at GVMS on Monday & Fugett on the road on Wednesday. Games start at 3:15 pm.

GVHS
The GV Girls wrapped up their regular season with a hard fought loss to WC Rustin 40-49. Their overall record is 14-8 & their league record is 6-4.
The GV Girls received the 15th seed in the PIAA District 1 tournament. They will host the 18th seed, Oxford on Saturday, February 17th at 2 pm. Tremendous accomplishment for these young ladies. Plan on coming out to support the team on the 17th!!
The GV Boys
(11-1 Ches-Mont American, 16-6 overall)
defeated West Chester Rustin 52-39 to clinch the Ches-Mont League American Division title.
Unfortunately,
the Patriots lost in OT to Coatesville 62-69 in the Ches-Mont League Semifinal last night. Next up is the District 1 5A Tournament where 5th seed GV will face 12th seed Pottsgrove on Wednesday, 2/21 at 7 pm.
