What are people saying about

If you're curious to know what people feel feel they get from Warmblood Stallions of North America, please visit our Testimonials page. We'd like to share one of our favorite comments here, from the folks at Avalon Equine:

"I like that you push domestic stallions. [I advertise on WarmbloodStallionsNA.com because] you do MY work for me. You have a large following, you do periodic bursts promoting my boys. I learned long ago to go with the place that had the most followers - the most bang for the buck. You offer that. I am a big believer that the more your ad is seen, the better your chances of getting results."

Amazing
The Love Letters project

Ahna Phelps, owner of the stallion Amazing, came up with a fun contest this spring. She invited mare owners to submit their mares' love letters to her stallion, making them as romantic and romance-y as possible. The best letter would win a half-price breeding to Amazing. Says Ahna Phelps, “I thought ‘who doesn’t love a good, sappy romance?’"

We've been posting Foundation Fridays on WarmbloodStallionsNA.com since 2018. Every other Friday we feature a foundation sire - one who has been influential in the development of warmblood breeds. We're pulling from the incredible archive of The Horse Magazine, published by Chris Hector of Australia. Thank you, Chris, for permission to draw on your expertise!

In each of these articles, we introduce a Foundation Sire, and we also include links to stallions with his bloodlines who are on WarmbloodStallionsNA.com.

Podcast from USEA

Young horse trainer Lauren Nicholson knows she's looking for a horse with the potential to become a 5* eventer, so what is her top priority for breeding or selection? Conformation? Precocious jumping ability? Nope. Her top priority is trainability. Click below to find out why.

Sea King by Sea Lion xx
Bred in Germany

Meet Sea King, a 2020 colt by Sea Lion xx bred in Germany. A top mare line was chosen (Acord II/Werther), and this colt shows balance and athleticism.

Sea Lion is a versatile Thoroughbred stallion approved by most major warmblood registries. His offspring are registered in several different registries, and in five countries.

Sea Lion is available for breeding for 2020 and bookings are being accepted for 2021. Click here for more information.
New Study on theHorse.com
Do Recipient Mares Pass Traits to Foals?
The article responds to a question that referred specifically to a situation where a non-warmblood mare was the recipient of an embryo from a warmblood mare, and whether the recipient would influence the foal, and how. There is a lot of discussion about this in the breeding community. Read the article to find out what we really know. Click here.
