Hello Husky Community,

I hope everyone is doing well and is excited for the final week of school before winter break and the start of a new calendar year! Although a lot of aspects of school life have a tendency to wind down around this time of year, we are fortunate to have a spectacular sendoff with our outdoor presentation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream on campus tonight and tomorrow at 7:00 PM. Tickets for tonight’s show are still available at the door and you may purchase tickets for tomorrow’s performance online until 2:00 PM tomorrow (tickets will be available at the door if you miss that deadline). You may purchase tickets by clicking the button below:
Additionally, I just wanted to thank all of the families who donated cookies and other treats for the faculty and staff appreciation Cookie Extravaganza! Special thanks to Mia Dalsemer and Kate Critchett, our Family Association Hospitality Chairs, for all of their work coordinating the efforts. Our faculty and staff deeply appreciated their cookie boxes!

While there were aspects of this week that were difficult for our schools, I’m extremely grateful that our community is driven by compassion and care for our students, parents, and teachers alike. As we head into winter break, we have an opportunity to reflect on the importance of togetherness and the opportunity to spend time with one another after a long period of separation. I hope that every Husky family is able to spend time with family, friends, and those they have missed in recent years.

Warmly,

Amy Hollinger

Video Recap: Mr. Purdy's middle school Renaissance students make an annual tradition of constructing their "Husky Hominid Museum," an exploration of humanity's development over the ages. This year, they took the museum to an astronomical level by making a video documenting their process and contributions.
A Midsummer Night's Dream - Tonight and Tomorrow
Our outdoor performances of A Midsummer Night's Dream are taking place on campus next week on December 10 & 11 at 7:00 PM. Come out for either magical night and see how our performing arts department interprets the Shakespearean classic in a COVID-safe environment!

Tickets for tonight's show will be available for purchase at the door and online purchases for Saturday's show will continue until 2:00 PM tomorrow.
Family Association Holiday Appreciation
Holiday Gift Giving for Faculty & Staff

As we are beginning the holiday season, the Family Association is happy to announce that we will once again be offering an opportunity to easily give faculty and staff holiday gifts online using the giving site Cheddar Up. The total amount collected for each teacher/staff member will be gifted to the recipient in an Amazon gift card and will be shared with the staff member, along with a note that lists the student(s) and/or family(ies) who showed their appreciation (without detailing the individual contribution by family). The deadline for contributions is Friday, December 17, 2021.

It's as easy as 1-2-3:
1) Click on the Cheddar Up link to choose the staff with whom you wish to share some holiday cheer & appreciation. For your convenience, everyone from teachers & administrators to facilities, operations and coaches are listed. See attached staff list for easy reference.
2) Follow the Cheddar Up instructions for inputting your gift amount(s)
3) Submit payment and move on to the next item on your holiday to-do list.

Please note all gift contributions are voluntary but after numerous requests from parents, the Family Association wanted to be able to provide families with an easy option for showing their appreciation during the holiday season. If you would like to contribute, please click the link below.
Thank you and Happy Holidays!

Senior Speeches
Graham Linthorst

"And finally, how did RHP shape me into the person I am today? Being at RHP has given me a new appreciation for school, helped me understand myself, and connected me to people I will never forget. I will always value my friends, my teachers, ACE, and the family that is RHP. "
Tim Zander

"While some friendships are stronger than others, each has helped me realize that I do belong in this community. I've been inspired to fight against my social anxiety and go out there and build new friendships and gain new experiences. There is always something new to learn from every person that you hang out with."
