With nary a ripple on the water, nor breeze in the air, the mirror image reflection was awesome. Difficult to distinguish up from down, with only the loon providing the perspective. That day. that moment, would belie the “April is the cruelest month” tag frequently bestowed upon it.

The Sunapee Historical Society sends huge thanks to all the generous donors who made this acquisition possible. On Sunday, April 18th, The Country Music Awards… virtual & live will be broadcast from Nashville, Tennessee, home of the "Grand Ole Opry”. That calls for some 'down home’ country music from the greatest stars of that genre’.

Aurora Bakery, a season long vendor, will be selling their freshly baked bread (while supplies last), Pies, Cookies, Brownies, Whoopie Pies all baked at their Newport, N.H bakery . Aurora Bakery is a non-profit bakery located in Newport, NH, within the bakery, we run a program for individuals with differing abilities.

We’ve missed you! The pandemic closed the doors as we all observed health safety guidelines thru 2020 and beyond. Now construction is underway on the foundation, enabled by the generous grant from Northern Borders Regional Commission; as soon as that is completed in mid-summer, we’ll once again turn on the lights, swing open the big green doors and welcome you in for art, music and special events!
