CELEBRATING MARTHA MALLORY and the Intergenerational Circle Annual Picnic F or over a decade, Martha Mallory has graciously hosted a picnic in June for Circles #10. 12, and 13 to celebrate the end of the PW year! Everyone's favorite event began many years ago when Mary Margaret Porter and Kathryn Justis thought it would be great to have an intergenerational event with both their Mothers' Circle #13. The rest is history. This past June we honored Martha for hosting this fabulous evening every year by presenting her with a piece of Lisa Dillard's "Heart Art." We will miss our picnic in Martha's yard (it never rained once) because she is moving to Sharon Towers, but she says maybe we can go there next June! Thanks, Martha, for your love and always making a connection with everyone you meet.  Who knows? Maybe some other Circles can start their own June picnic! Make A Connection.

Moderator's Message: It is my privilege and a blessing to serve as your PW Moderator this coming year! We will be kicking off the new PW year on September 15 immediately after church with our annual Fall Gathering and Luncheon. We are hosting the gathering on Sunday this year with the hope that it will fit everyone's schedule a bit more. We are very excited to welcome our new Associate Pastor, The Reverend Robert L.Galloway; Outreach Director, Shantiqua Neely; and our new Parish Nurse, Sherry Olson, to join us to speak at the Fall Gathering. It will be great to get to know them and hear what they have planned ahead for the year! I hope to see everyone on Sunday, September 15, to kick off an amazing PW year at First Presbyterian Church!
