Dear Parent/Guardian,
I hope this letter finds you well and that you enjoyed a wonderful summer! On behalf of the district administration, Board of Education and staff I would like to welcome you to the 2019-2020 school year. To the families who are new to Shamong, we are excited to welcome you to our family. Our school community is amazing and you are going to love it here!
The summer was very busy in the Shamong School District. Our custodial and maintenance staff prepared our school buildings and grounds for welcoming back our students and staff. The administrative team continued to focus on enhancing instruction, technology, safety and security. Our teachers have been busy getting their classrooms ready for an exciting year of growing and learning.
The success of any school district and its students is built upon a solid working relationship between the district and its community. With this in mind, I encourage all parents to be an active part of your children’s education and activities in our schools. There are many opportunities available for your involvement during the school year.
