At KFA, we know all too well that cyber security continues to be a growing and increasingly demanding field. We also know that women only make up approximately 20% of the cyber security workforce.
KFA associate Leslie Gazeley recently attended the "Cyber Security Woman of the Year Awards" (CSWY) in Las Vegas, NV. We were pleased to be among the evening's sponsors (along with Microsoft, Intel, Adobe, McAfee, the Cloud Security Alliance, ISSa, and ZEEKTEK).
The CSWY Awards, organized by California-based company, Inteligenca, honored a select group of nominees for their contributions in the cyber security arena. These women have not only embraced the cyber security industry, but have become trailblazers who are actively contributing valuable new perspectives, innovations and leadership to the field.
The diversity of backgrounds and experiences these women bring can only serve to widen the cyber security knowledge-base in defending our data and networks.
