The Church and Omicron
We encourage everyone to do all you can to stay healthy and to protect the most vulnerable. To this end, the church will be doing our best to keep the staff safe and healthy so that our ministries can continue. Some postponements will occur, and some programs will return to Zoom-only for this immediate threat. Again, the main focus is to keep the staff safe so that the church can continue to provide worship and ministry opportunities.
Enforcement of our continued restrictions is for the benefit of the most vulnerable and the youngest among us. These include required masking whenever you are on the Mission Valley or Ocean Beach campus. Masks must be medical grade and worn over your nose and under the chin. Keep physical distance as much as possible, no food service will be allowed or provided for the time being, and if you feel ill with any kind of symptoms, please stay home.
In addition, if you have been exposed to a person who has tested positive for COVID, get tested yourself within 5 days. If you contract COVID, stay quarantined for 5 days after the absence of any symptoms.
Thank you for loving your neighbor in these ways.
Rev. Trudy

Prayers & Squares Quilt Ministry
When is a prayer quilt appropriate?
Anyone in special need of prayer is an appropriate recipient of a prayer quilt. We pray for one another in times of illness, injury, or sorrow. We also pray for them at times of great change or transition in their lives. Anyone can request a quilt for another person. We refer to the requester as the quilt’s sponsor. To sponsor a prayer quilt for someone in need of prayer, be sure to ask for their agreement to be a recipient. Ask them what prayers they need. Learn more about the Prayers & Squares Quilt Ministry here and please fill out the online request form.
