MASS AND ANGEL BUDDIES-
Your student may come home and tell you about their new Angel Buddy or Buddies! An important part of the Catholic School experience is to stay spiritually connected as a community. Our students are paired up with different grade levels to stay united as one and to lift up one another along the way. For the older students it provides an opportunity to practice leadership. For our younger students it provides support and encouragement. Students will gather throughout the school year to meet with their prayer partners to; attend mass, develop classroom outreach programs, participate in fun activities, and, of course, to pray!
ANGELS BUDDIES - Will typically begin the 2nd week of school.

WELCOME TO THE OLQA TEAM
Mr. Joe Konrad
(Aug-Dec) Intervention Grades 6-8 / (Jan-June) 3B Long-Term Sub
Hello! My name is Joe Konrad and I am excited to be a part of the OLQA family. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of a community that provides an excellent education grounded in a strong foundational faith. In 2013, I graduated from California State Long Beach with a B.A. in political science. During that time I began working in the Westminster School District as an Extended School Program, (ESP) lead facilitator. My joy for working with young students quickly grew as I realized the impact I could have on their lives as a positive male-influence. I decided then, that my passion as an educator would be my life’s purpose. In 2016, I graduated from Concordia University Irvine with a multiple subject credential. I started taking long- term positions in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classrooms. Last year, I was the reading specialist for upper elementary in W.S.D. With my experience, I hope to make the 2019-2020 year a success
