Quilts of Valor
A Quilt of Valor is our award to those who have been touched by war. It says "thank you for your service, sacrifice and valor" in serving our nation. If you would like to participate in this local sewing group, please join us on any or all dates to work on your own Quilt of Valor or to assist others with their quilts.

Travel Duffel Bag 2.0
Date: Sat, Feb. 15 & 22
Teacher: Ranette Travnik
Time: 2pm-4pm
Are you getting ready to escape the cold? Do you have a cruise planned? Then this large duffel bag carries everything you need for travelling and still fits in the overhead bin!
Some quilting work is required prior to class.

PREMIER+2 - Level 2 (PC not Mac)
Teacher: Jane McMurray
Dates: Saturdays, Feb 15 & 22
Time: 2pm-4pm
This class is for PREMIER+TM 2 Embroidery Extra or Premier+2 Ultra owners. We will be learning the options available in the Edit Tab, Background Wizard, ExpressDesign Wizard, PhotoStitch Wizard, QuiltBlock Wizard, and Split Project Wizard.

Time: 10 am to Noon
If you have always wanted to learn to quilt then Beginning Quilting is for you! In 5 weeks you will be able to complete a quilt top for a lap sized quilt (cutting and sewing homework is required).
- Learn about the basic tools required for quilting and choosing fabric
- Learn skills on how to read a pattern, rotary cutting and machine piecing
- Learn how to prepare your quilt top for quilting, quilting tips and how to bind and finish your quilt
- Tips and techniques to make your first quilt a winner will be provided
Test-drive one of our computerized sewing machines to complete your quilt.

Learn to digitize a new complete project using the PREMIER+ Ultra or PREMIER+ 2 Ultra software.

OPEN SEW SATURDAY
Dates: Saturday, March 7
Time: 10am-5pm
Join us on the 1st Saturday each month for OPEN SEW SATURDAY! A day for you to come in with your own sewing or embroidery machine, and whatever project you may be working on. We chat and give a little help if you need it. Bring your own lunch, or go out somewhere nearby, just sort of free-wheeling it. We'll leave that up to you.

Machine Embroidery
Technique for March
Cross Stitch Designs
Teacher: Pam Patnaude
Dates: Saturday, March 21
Time: 10am-1pm
The Pfaff and Husqvarna Viking embroidery machines have built-in designs so that you can learn different types of embroidery. This monthly class will show you how to make Cross Stitch designs. These are so much simpler than doing counted cross stitch by hand.

Stop in and see the beautiful new sample Susan Deegan has made for us! It uses the Delphinia fabric collection from Laundry Basket as well as Edyta's Cloud Nine pattern. Of course we have kits!! Don't miss out, this fabric is moving quickly.
