Volume 11 | November 2019
Finally, some good news to report about our reconstruction efforts after the flood this summer. Our carpets have arrived and so we will be starting the process of laying them and then restoring the bookshelves etc. During this time there may be some occasional disruptions but hopefully we'll be fully back, good as new by Thanksgiving!!

Memory Cafe - Power of Flowers Program
November 8 1-2:30pm

Memory Cafes are meant as easy social times to allow those experiencing memory changes and their caregivers some relaxed social time to engage with others and to enjoy activities together. We will be offering music, crafts and activities once a month with time to connect and socialize with other participants. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome The first one will be November 9, 2019 at 1-2:30pm
Old Fashioned Bake Sale to Benefit the Friends of Nevins Library
Tuesday Nov. 26

The Friends will sponsor an old fashioned bake sale where you can pick up some home made baked goods such as coffee cakes and cookise to breads and brownies. All proceeds benefit the Nevins library Friends association and help provide programs and extras. Stop by from 10am to 8pm and pick up some goodies for the holiday.

Boost your Brain with Healthy Eating
November 18 at 7 pm

Methuen Village presents a program to describe the many ways the foods we eat can help our brain health and give a boost to our cognition. Come join us as we learn which are the best foods for our brains and how to prepare them to get the most out of our nutrition.

Are you looking for a MahJongg game? Are you interested in learning how to play? Please join in our friendly game at the Nevins Library on Wednesday November 6 @10am. We have players of all skill levels so don't be shy! We just like to play!
