The college’s Science Council is a group of dedicated student volunteers, who strive to provide enriching activities and opportunities for all Aggie science students. Led by the college’s student-elected USU Student Association senator, the council plans the college’s annual “Science Week” featuring campus-wide activities, as well as events throughout the year.

Hear tips from Associate Dean Greg Podgorski, Science Senator Noah Braeger and Science Council Officers Nathan Barber and Alex Lyons are getting involved in the college, undergraduate research, student clubs and mentorship.

During the 2020-21 academic year, the College of Science's public outreach program, Science Unwrapped, explores the excitement and challenges of emerging science.

This Friday, September 25, Dr. Nick Flann from the Computer Science Department will present on the topic of the spread of misinformation through social media. The talk will be broadcast at 7 pm on Aggie Cast. A live Q&A session with Dr. Flann will follow.

Traditional after-talk activities will be replaced by short videos featuring fun games and crafts for all ages.
