Mally's Home!
Thank you to everyone for sharing and spreading the word to help find Mally and get him home safely. He was returned home Saturday morning!

That was a scary few days for us here at Shadow Husky Rescue but we're happy that Mally is safe and sound back at home!
Congrats, Halo! + Dog Treats and Boarding Promo
Congratulations to  Dawn Pattison 's Halo for winning the "Most Original" Costume Category in the Stater Bro's Dog Costume Photo Contest!! Halo generously decided to donate her prizes to Shadow Husky Rescue (except the ball due to Halo's tennis ball obsession). Thank you Halo!!  ♥️

Whittiker's Unexpected Medical Costs
Shadow Husky Rescue is asking for donations to help cover Whittiker's unexpected medical expenses.

He had a complication with his neuter in the shelter that has had him back at the vet a few times now for treatment. He is being taken care of like a king over at Foster Kim Kuss ​' house!

Adoptions
Glacier
Glacier was adopted out at our at October 20th Adoption Event. His owner had contacted us looking for help finding him a new home due to his separation anxiety. He was escaping from his kennel and even her apartment so we found Glacier a great home where he'll get the exercise and space he needs!
Shadow
Shadow was a surrender dog at our October 6th Adoption Event who was going to be dropped at the shelter if we didn't find him a home!! Within 15 minutes of putting his "Adopt Me" vest on he found his forever family! Our amazing volunteer Adam did a home check with them after they we're approved with our Questionnaire to make sure it was a good fit all around!
Sarge
Sarge was adopted yesterday at our Adoption Event by a great family. Sarge was off to the pound but the owner brought him to our PetSmart Adoptions instead to find a great family!! She didn't have the time for him and he was suffering from extreme separation anxiety!

Princess
Princess was severely neglected as a young pup, she developed demodectic mange, a very uncomfortable skin condition. Her skin is completely healed and her fur is growing in well! She is as sweet as a princess on the inside as well. Her favorite activities are walks, fetching, eating, and taking naps with you! She does well with other dogs at the dogpark, but does not like other dogs to come near her food or toys at home. She would absolutely love to be in a single-dog household, with her very own family to love and be loved by!
Sammy (Guero)
Shadow Husky Rescue saved Sammy (now Guero) back in 2016 and he was adopted but his owner passed away this last month and he is looking for his new forever home. He is good with some other dogs but a meet and greet is required.
Kaldrogo and Anubis
Kaldrogo and Anubis are Husky/PitBull mixes and are looking for their forever home. Their owner passed away last month and are in need of a new home.

Shadow Husky Rescue is at PetSmart in Menifee, CA from 12pm-3pm  every  Sunday trying to find forever homes for our rescues and surrender dogs! Come out, say hi, and maybe even bring home a new family member!
